Canyons is committed to keeping students engaged in learning while also being mindful of the health and wellness issues presented by COVID-19. To aid in this effort — and to support teachers who may need to stay home because of health or personal reasons — a robust list of substitute teachers is needed for the school year.
Licensed substitute teachers have the opportunity make up to $129 per day. This is a rewarding opportunity to make money and help some of Utah’s finest students excel in school, according to the substitutes who regularly step in to help teachers when they need a day away from the classroom for health or personal reasons.
Canyons District recognizes the uniqueness of the upcoming year as the novel coronavirus continues to change the way we all work and learn. Canyons Human Resources Administrator Sally Sansom says the District will work tirelessly to support those who indicate they would like to be substitute teachers.
