Mr. Jeffery’s Bio

I consider myself a Texan at heart, and have lived most of my life in Texas (Houston area).  I am very excited however to be here in beautiful Utah, be closer to family, and be able to enjoy a bit more outdoor recreation. 

I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Brigham Young University, and taught one year in Nebo School District before heading back to Texas.  After a few years of teaching I received my master’s degree in education administration at Stephen F. Austin University in Texas.  I’ve taught 3rd-5th grade as a classroom teacher and especially enjoyed teaching math and science.  I’ve also been a Math Academic Lead Teacher (similar to an achievement coach in Canyons School District) for three years, and then an assistant principal for an additional three years in Humble Independent School District (suburb of Houston).  I’ve been Park Lane’s principal, working with these amazing students, a wonderful faculty, and fantastic families since 2015-16.

I love education and really enjoy working with students, parents, staff, and the community at large.  I enjoy people! 

I am very happily married and have 5 wonderful children.  I enjoy a lot of different things, but most of all I love spending time with my family.
