The First Week Back!

Please don’t forget to Join our PTA . Our membership is so important and vital in helping us advocate for our children. A strong membership means a strong PTA for our kids.
Please SIGNUP to volunteer! There are so many opportunities to volunteer in the classroom or at home. There also lots of fun ways to get involved in PTA events like the Fun Run, Reflections, A.R. parties and Field Day. Remember, this application is required for our kids’ safety to be able to volunteer at the school.
Upcoming Info/events
- Park Lane will be doing an after-school musical this year: Annie (Kid’s Edition). Fourth and fifth graders are welcome to participate both on stage or as stage crew. Auditions will be held August 23rd and 24th. More information can be found at this link Annie Auditions
- We want to make our Park Lane families aware of the Park Lane Pantry. The pantry is located in the school, and is designed to offer supplies to families and students in need of clothes and/ or basic supplies. Information on how to access the pantry and what it’s all about is located at this link ParklanePantry
- Our PTA budget has been approved and we hope to make our ONE fundraiser for the year a success as well as lots of fun. Our Fun Run will be held Friday, Sept 16th @9am. The Fun Run Kickoff and information assembly will be Friday Sept 2nd.
- Board meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 11:40am-12:20pm in the Conference Room (by the cafeteria) if you’d like to attend. Next one is 9/13.
- Sept 5th, Labor Day, no school
- Sept 28-29 Parent Teacher’s conferences with Early Out (1:25pm) on Thurs the 29th. No School Sept 30th.
- Sept 26-29th in person Book Fair
- Sept 27th, Volunteers needed for vision screening at the school. 8:15am (1-2hr) Need 3-4 volunteers. Please email me amber4home@icloud.com
- Park Lane is still in-need of an after-school sweeper. There a several positions open, 3:30pm-5:30pm, 14 and up can apply. Contact David Fischer for information: david.fischer@canyonsdistrict.org
